If you want to install version 3.4.1 can be really that complicated, because the official website gives you all the packages for download, which are at least 50, and asks you to download one by one.
But i have a much more simple to install. If you dare, follow these steps:
- Delete the previous version of LibreOffice Opening a terminal and typing
sudo apt-get purge “libreoffice*.*”
- Download from LibreOffice download page Version 3.4.1, sure to choose the version. DEB and x86 (unless you have installed Ubuntu 64-bit). Thus:
- Move the 3 files downloaded to your /home and unpack. This will create 3 folders
Open a terminal and type the following command:
cd LibO_3.4.1rc3_Linux_x86_install-deb_en-US/DEBS&&sudo dpkg -i *.deb&&cd desktop-integration&&sudo dpkg -i *.deb&&cd ~/LibO_3.4.1rc3_Linux_x86_langpack-deb_es/DEBS&&sudo dpkg -i *.deb&&cd ~/LibO_3.4.1rc3_Linux_x86_helppack-deb_es/DEBS&&sudo dpkg -i *.deb&&exit
