In any distro you can download source code and compile program following instructions. In Ubuntu, there is already a repository with a package. Minitunes deb. To install, simply run following commands in Terminal to install:

- sudo apt-get install libqt4-network libqt4-dbus libqt4-sql-sqlite libtag1c2a phonon-backend-gstreamer gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
- sudo apt-get install minitunes
