Android 3.2 Honeycomb will continue to Android Gingerbread

Android mobile operating system from Google is released, and when not out yet version 3.1, to be called Gingerbread, we already know name of version 3.2.

Apparently, the version that will follow "Gingerbread" will be released later this year, called Honeycomb, "Honeycomb" and "Beehive"

Even when it is starting to digest newly released Android 2.2 or Froy, included on smartphones Droid 2 and HTC Evo 4G, there are multiple sources that are already talking about new version.

We did not go unnoticed always sweet names using Google for their versions of Android, which previously called Cupcake, Donut, Eclair and Froy.

It is likely, Honeycomb, no more than an incremental update as of Froy was Eclair, but Google goes fast on updates that always wants to keep latest mobile operating system.

This is why it is not expected that Honeycomb is an approach to Android 4 but closer to 3.1.

For now, the closest is Gingerbread, which will be with us for next Christmas and will bring dramatic improvements in user interface, based on some of recent hires of Google, but the company does not want to reveal too many details.
