How to Install Spotify in Ubuntu

I recently found out that in genbeta spotify already has linux client. Before seeing how to install linux soon see some issues that perhaps they are interested in:
What is Spotify? It is a legal and free music over Internet. Do not download songs, but you hear them streaming through an application that you install on your computer. It has a paid version and free version. The free version includes some audio ads and print ads.
Serves only to premium users. Spotify Client for Linux does not work for everyone, if you have a paid version you can not hear music.
Only serves to Ubuntu. Well actually for Ubuntu, Debian and its derivatives. This is because there are only installation files. Deb. No one. Tar.gz or. Rpm for other distros like Fedora or Arch
It is not free. The client code is open source, is a free download client and nothing more.

Let's see how to install on ubuntu spotify client.

1 - In a console type:
  • sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list
At end of file write
  • deb http://repository.spotify.com stable non-free
Save and Close.

2 - Updating repositories
  • sudp apt-get update
3 - Add a public key in console by typing following:
  • gpg --keyserver wwwkeys.de.pgp.net --recv-keys 4E9CFF4E
  • gpg --export 4E9CFF4E |sudo apt-key add -
4 - Install needed packages
  • sudo apt-get install spotify-client-qt spotify-client-gnome-support
If an error occurs they just do not install gconf2 spotify pack-gnome-client-support and now.

I hope you learn I personally do not use but grovesharck spotify but truth is much more comfortable having a client open a browser tab.
